What Contabilium built with Greelow

Contabilium is one of the top three accounting-software solutions for small and medium-sized businesses in its region. The web platform was already mature; what they needed was a mobile app for their sales team — a working tool for the field, not a marketing surface.

Greelow built the app interface used by Contabilium's sellers: order taking, the full sales workflow, stock management, and the supporting features their team relies on every day.

The Challenge

Sales apps look simple from the outside. In practice, they carry the weight of the whole revenue pipeline. A field seller with a broken order form loses the sale. A stock query that returns stale data results in over-promising. A slow interface pushes the seller back to phone-and-spreadsheet workflows, which was the exact pattern Contabilium wanted to eliminate.

The constraints were also tight:

  • Four months, fixed scope. No exploration phase, no discovery calls stretched into billable months.
  • Integrate with the existing web platform. Same data model, same business logic, same auth surface.
  • Ship it, don't prototype it. The app had to be production-ready on delivery — not a demo the sales team would then wait six more months to actually use.

The Solution

Greelow chose Xamarin Forms as the delivery framework. The reasons were pragmatic: a shared codebase across iOS and Android, straightforward integration with the .NET / C# backend Contabilium's team was already comfortable with, and predictable delivery velocity given the four-month window.

The team ran a fast-paced process with a hybrid communication schedule — online calls for the day-to-day, face-to-face meetings for the larger decisions. That combination kept the feedback loop tight without turning every meeting into a video call.

The app shipped in four months, on scope, and moved directly into production use with Contabilium's sales team.
